We do more than print. Finishing decides how a piece looks, how it feels and how long it lasts, and at SITTIC we handle it in the same production chain as printing, with high-volume machinery and, for mounting and die-cutting, newly installed state-of-the-art equipment.
The finishes we offer
- Coating. The coating unit on our offset press applies UV or aqueous coating in the same pass as printing, to protect the piece and give it gloss.
- Lamination. On a high-volume laminator, to protect the printed surface and make it more durable.
- Mounting. We bond the printed sheet to a more rigid substrate, such as board, on a newly installed state-of-the-art mounting line.
- Die-cutting. We cut the exact shape of the piece and crease its folds from the die line, on a state-of-the-art die-cutter, also newly installed.
- Digital cutting. Cutting plotters for specific jobs and short runs, with no cutting die required.

What it is used for
Mounting and die-cutting are the backbone of cardboard boxes, POS displays and special projects: they give the piece its rigidity and shape. Lamination protects bags, covers and surfaces that will be handled. Coating adds protection and gloss in the same printing pass.

Just the finishing, if that is what you need
We can take on this stage alone. If you are a printer and need a job laminated, mounted or die-cut, we review the material and format and confirm whether it is feasible. If you are an agency, we coordinate finishing together with offset or digital printing and hand finishing. Whatever the case, we work in strict confidence and with full respect for your client: your client stays yours, and our brand never appears where it should not.
Control within one production chain
Because printing and finishing are part of the same chain, colour, feel and cut are controlled together, and any adjustment is sorted out without waiting on a third party. The die line we use for die-cutting is the one our technical office develops for each project.
How to request a quote
Tell us which finish you need, on what material, in what format, in what quantity and by when. If the job is already printed, let us know. We reply and quote as fast as we produce.
Frequently asked questions
Can you finish a job printed by another printer?
We can take on the finishing stage alone. We review the material and format and confirm feasibility before quoting.
What is the difference between coating and lamination?
Coating is applied in the coating unit of the offset press, in the same pass as printing, and can be UV or aqueous. Lamination is a later process that applies a film over the printed sheet.
What is mounting used for?
To bond the printed sheet to another substrate, usually board, and give it rigidity. It is common in boxes, displays and pieces that have to bear weight or stand upright.
Do I need a cutting die for small quantities?
Not always. For specific jobs and short runs we have cutting plotters that cut without a die.
